摘 要:
近年来，我国学界对城市化问题进行了热烈的探讨，取得了不小的成果。就城市化而言，欧洲率先经历了这一过程，然而，我国学界对这一过程研究并不太多，对城市化的概念，以及城市化与现代化的关系亦无清晰的梳理。因此，结合欧洲城市化的进程，对城市化的概念、城市化与现代化的关系等理论问题进行探讨，以期对我国当今的城市化研究提供参考与借鉴，对我国学界的研究有所丰富。[著者文摘]

Theoretical Reflections on Urbanization and Modernization： The Process of European Urbanization and Modernization

Abstract:
Recencly, Chinese scholars have carried out quite a few discussions on the urbanization issues and received great achievements. As regards Europe that has taken the lead around the world in completing the urbanization, there are few researches in China on this process, the concept of the urbanization, and the relationship between urbanization and modernization. Therefore, this paper attempts to focus on the urbanization process in Europe to discuss issues in relation to the concept of urbanization as well as the relationship between urbanization and modernization, which is expected to enrich urbanization researches in China.[著者文摘]
