秦雍都的城市轮廓是不规则的方形,有外郭城和城壕.城内规划布局整齐,按照“前朝后市,左祖右社”的城市规划思想布设宗庙、宫殿、市场等标志性建筑,建筑呈左右对称状,城市有了中轴线.雍都的城市形态在我国都城规划史上有承上启下的作用.[著者文摘]
