Discussion on the Marriage between Tang Empire and Xi,Khitan

Abstract:
Before AnShi Rebellion,in order to control Liao Xi and then control Liao Dong to the east and North Asia to the west, the Tang dynasty tried to appease Xi and Khitan using the method of marriage relation, but that resulted in failure as their civil strife and then Tang empire and the two tribes stepped into years of battles.[著者文摘]
