摘 要:
古往今来世界上版图特大的帝国（王朝）有哪些，其中最大的是不是蒙古帝国——这是一个饶有兴趣并有待研究的问题。通过地图量算和文献研究，得知19世纪末20世纪初的大英帝国是世界历史上版图最大的帝国，1580-1640年的西班牙帝国是第二大的日不落帝国，19世纪中叶的俄罗斯帝国是欧亚美连成一片的第三大帝国，13—14世纪的蒙古帝国则是地跨欧亚的第四大帝国。[著者文摘]

Abstract:
What empires （dynasties） are the Mongolian largest in domains in the world throughout ages？ Whether or not is the empire the largest among those great empires.？ This is an interesting problem of waiting for study. By measuring and calculating maps with study of documents and literatures, it is known that the great English empire from the end of 19th century to early years of 20th one is the largest empire in domain in the world history; that the Spanish empire of 1580-1640 is the second largest one, the sun above its land would never set; that the Russian empire in the middle of 19th century was the third largest one, whose territory in Europe, Asia and America joined together; that the Mongolian empire in 13th - 14th century was the forth largest one of extending across Asia and Europe.[著者文摘]
