摘 要:
从古籍之名注释与古籍原句对比观察古汉语的省略句，可以看出省略句的种种不同性质和情况。总的来看：一、一般的省略是指在一定的语境内的承上或蒙下的省略。二、特殊的省略不同于承上或蒙下的省略，而是单从句子结构本身来看省略某些主要或次要的成分。三、以偏代偏＋正的省略，即在句法结构之一的偏正结构里，省去其中心词，而以其修饰或限制性语词来代替整个词组的意思。文中并对《古汉语通论》一书的省略说提出商榷的意见。[著者文摘]

On Elliptical Sentence in Archaic Chinese from the Comparison Between the Annotations and Their Original Sentences

Abstract:
Compared well-known annotations with their original sentences in ancient books, this paper presents different kinds of nature and cases of elliptical sentences in archaic Chinese. Generally speaking, ellipsis can be divided into three categories： 1. general ellipsis which refers to ellipsis continuing the preceding or followed by the following in a certain context; 2. special ellipsis which is concerned with ellipsis of certain primary of secondary constituents from the view of sentence structures instead of ellipsis continuing the preceding or followed by the following; 3. ellipsis using a modifier to substitute a word group, that is to say in this structure leaving out the head and using modifiers or determiners to substutute a whole word group. Some views about ellipsis in General Archaic Chinese are put forward to discuss in this paper.[著者文摘]
