Abstract:
This paper introduces the application of PAC System RX7i of GE Fanuc in 1700mm hot continuous rolled strip steel production line which uses middle-thin slabs. The author summarizes the technical requirements for the control system needed by hot continuous rolling technology with emphasis on the characteristics of high accuracy, continuity, high speed control and high-speed communication and elaborates the composition and major functions of the system. With the system put into production, the system has been well operated, thus guaranteeing the great economic benefits of the production line.
