摘 要:
研究了MgO杂质在720℃下对镁电解质物理化学性质及电解电流效率的影响。试验结果表明:当MgO含量大于0.5%时电解质的表面张力迅速减小,当MgO含量大于1%时电流效率急剧下降。测定了MgO在添加LaCl3的熔盐中的溶解度,结果表明MgO的溶解度与LaCl3的添加量成线性关系,且随着温度的升高逐渐增大;同时还研究了LaCl3在不同添加量下对电解质性质的影响,结果表明LaCl3对电解质的性质几乎没有影响,可以作为添加剂溶解电解质中的杂质MgO,消除其对电解过程产生的危害。[著者文摘]

The Effects of MgO on the Property of Electrolyte and the Resolving Method

Abstract:
The effects of MgO on electrolyte physics chemical property and the current efficiency during electrolysis under 720℃ were investigated. The results show that the surface tension of electrolyte decreased quickly and the current efficiency declined dramatically when MgO was more than 0.5% and 1.0% respectively. The solubility of MgO in molten salt containing LaCl3 was researched. The results suggest that the relationship between the solubility of MgO and the content of LaCl3 was linear and the solubility was improved with the increasing of temperature. The effects of LaCl3 content on the properties of electrolyte were studied. From this result, LaCl3 had almost no effects on the property of electrolyte and can be used as an additive dissolving MgO in the electrolyte.[著者文摘]
