摘 要:
采用反应性加工技术实现了三聚氰胺氰尿酸盐(MCA)的原位制备及阻燃尼龙6(PA6)复合材料的一体化制备。其中SEM分析表明,PA6基体树脂中原位生成的MCA为长纤状粒子,长径比高达20。当阻燃剂添加量为10%(质量分数,下同)时,材料的阻燃性能达UL94V-0(1.6 mm & 3.2 mm)级,拉伸强度为70.6 MPa,缺口冲击强度为5.0 kJ/m^2,远优于传统MCA阻燃PA6。[著者文摘]

The Flame Retardancy and Mechanical Properties of Flame Retarded PA6 with In-Situ Formed MCA via Reactive Processing

Abstract:
In this paper, reactive extrusion was used to prepare flame retardant PA6 with in-situ formed melamine cyanurate (MCA) from reaction of melamine and cyanuric acid carried out in twinscrew extruder. FT-IR and XRD measurements confirmed the formation of above in-situ reaction product MCA with almost full conversion. SEM analyzes shows that some in-situ formed long-fiberlike MCA particles with aspect ratio 20 exist in PA6 matrix, which is not reported previously anywhere The prepared flame retarded PA6 composite possesses good flame retardancy and mechanical properties, which are much better than those of conventionally prepared FR PA6 material. At 10% flame retardant loading, the corresponding FR PA6 material can achieve flame retardancy of UL94 1.6 and 3.2 mm V-0 level, tensile strength of 70.6 MPa and Izod impact strength of 5.03 kJ/m^2.[著者文摘]
