Abstract:
Butyl p-hydroxy benzoate was synthesized by the reaction of p-hydroxy benzoic acid with butyl alcohol in the presence of p-methyl benzene sulfonic acid under microwave irradiation and the influencing factors of reaction were investigated. The optimum conditions were determined as follows: the molar ratio of p-hydroxy benzoic acid to butanol was 1:2, microwave irradiation power was 500W and the reaction time was 30min, the yield of butyl p-hydroxy benzoate was 97%.[著者文摘]
