Abstract:
Apoptosis is a kind of autonomic death process controlled by gene. Autophagy has also been suggested as a non-apoptosis death type of programmed cell death. This article summarizes the characteristic and mechanism of apoptosis and autophagy and reviews the relationship between the two.
