The Biological Characteristics of Zenia insignis and Its Exploitation and Utilization

Abstract:
As a rare tree species in the south of China, Zenia insignis grows rapidly, regenerates easily from sprouts with wide adaptability, and naturally distributes in Guangxi, Guangdong, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan and so forth. Based on field survey, introduction experiments and reference data, the biological characteristics of Zenia insignis were analyzed, the study progresses including raising seedlings, silviculture, and comprehensive utilization were reviewed, and some suggestions for further study were proposed.[著者文摘]
