摘 要:
在近代汉语中，“便是”可以放在句尾充当语气助词。文章对这种“便是”产生过程中“NP＋是”、“NP＋便是”和“VP＋便是”句式及其演变关系进行了研究，还对争议较多的“NP＋的＋便是”与“N1＋（便）是＋N2P＋的＋便是”结构进行了探讨，认为其中的“便是”不是语气助词，而是判断动词，并对两种结构的来源进行了探索。[著者文摘]

On the Grammaticalization of ＂Bianshi＂ and Correlated Structures
Abstract:
In modem Chinese, ＂bianshi＂ （便是） could act as a tone particle at the end of a sentence. This paper reports our study of the structures ＂NP ＋ shi （是） ＂, ＂NP ＋ bianshi （便是）＂ and ＂VP ＋ bianshi （便是）＂ and their interrelationships in the evolution of ＂bianshi＂ （便是）. It also discusses ＂NP＋ de （的） ＋ bianshi （便是）＂ and ＂N1 ＋ （bian） shi ＋ N2P ＋ de ＋ bianshi （便是）＂, and concludes that ＂bianshi＂ （便是） is not a tone particle but a linking verb. At last, the paper explores the origin of these two structures.[著者文摘]
