For the runback (RB) function of the Supercritical 600 MW unit, This paper introduces the control strategy,some specific optimizing measures and the condition of RB field test of NO.3 unit of CPI HUAINAN PINGWEI NO.2 ELECTRIC POWER CO.,LTD. The dynamic characteristic of RB was also researched in the paper.
