摘 要:
香港回归后遭遇了亚洲金融危机、全球经济衰退和SARS等一系列冲击．但在中央政府的支持和全体港人的努力下，香港的经济增长丝毫不逊色于其它经济体，国际收支保持稳定，并成功克服了高失业和通货紧缩的困境，基本实现了财政收支平衡。居安思危，香港经济可持续发展仍面临五个方面的挑战。但是香港原有的优势依存。有利的内外环境也为香港未来的发展提供了机遇。[著者文摘]

Hong Kong＇ Economy： Retrospect and Prospect

Abstract:
Since the return, Hong Kong has experienced a series of shocks such as the Asian financial crisis, the global economic recession and SARS. But with the support of the central government and all Hong Kong people＇s efforts, Hong Kong＇s economic growth is as favorable as other economies,its balance of payments maintains stability,and it successfully overcomes the high unemployment and deflation as well as fiscal imbalance.However, Hong Kong＇ sustainable development of economy is still facing five challenges while Hong Kong＇s advantages remain as before,and favorable internal and external environments sustain its future development opportunities.[著者文摘]
