森林土壤种子库研究进展

摘  要:

土壤种子库与物种多样性存在密切相关性,森林土壤种子库是植被天然更新的物质基础。文章阐述了森林土壤种子库的内涵、森林生态系统土壤种子库的基本特征及其主要研究方法,探讨了影响种子库的基本因素及当前极为关注的热点问题。在受损森林生态系统目标树种培养、植被群落快速恢复和生态系统科学管理等领域仍存在一些理论和实践急待解决的问题,如随着群落进展演替土壤种子库种子数量在增加而质量却在逐渐下降,面临如何解决生态系统健康稳定发育和物种多样性长期维持问题。文章认为今后应加强土壤种子库与生物多样性保护、防止外来物种入侵乡土物种利用及对全球变化的响应等领域的研究工作,以期为从事森林土壤种子库研究和退化森林植被群落恢复实践提供理论指导。[著者文摘]

J。随着植被群落进展演替,虽然种子库物种数逐渐增加,但土壤种子库中的活力种子不断减少而日.萌发率下降,说明种子库组成结构发生变化即暂时性种子输入增加【3’4J。亚热带地区15]次生退化灌丛南于缺乏演替后期阶段的种源,严重制约植被进展演替;相反演替后期森林土壤中保存着大量前期物种种子,意味着森林破坏以后要经过漫长的时期在恢复到森林阶段。种子鉴定既是土壤种子库研究的基础也是最重要的一个环节,最常见的种子萌发法【6J对有些群落可能低估了活力种子的丰富度。随着分子标记技术的引入,极大地促进了种子种类及种源鉴定T 作,有助于群落演变各阶段土壤种子库与植被群落动态的相关性研究。因此今后在关键种或建群种的种子输入与输出、种子萌发与土壤环境关系动态、土壤种子库对生物多样性保护、培植可防止外来人侵物种干扰的乡土种种子库【7J以及土壤种子库对全球变化与的响应J等领域会越来越受到关注。本文总结了土壤种子库研究成果并展望了种子库研究发展趋势,以期为森林土壤种子库研究和退化......

Abstract:

There were close relationships between soil seed banks and plants diversity, and soil seed banks were the substantial groundings for vegetation natural restoration. The conceptions, rudimentary characteristics of seed banks and predominant research approaches on soil seed banks of various forest ecosystems have been interpreted in the paper, as well as the main factors influencing the soil seed banks and hot topics were discussed. There were some unresolved issues on targeted tree species culturing, ecological restoration and scientific management of the damaged forest ecosystems etc. The plants species and seeds quantity increased with seeds quality descended gradually while the communities were running on evolving succession, so there have occurred some challenging problems such as how to maintain the healthily stabilization of forest ecosystems and diversity of plants species. The researches will be developed deeper and wider on the relations between soil seed banks and plants diversity, utilization of native plants species to prevent exotic species invading, and how to response to global change for soil seed banks etc. The purposes of the paper will offer theoretical references for researches on soil seed banks and practices on vegetation restoration.[著者文摘]
