Progress in Research on Bone Marrow Mesenehymal Stem Cells for Cerebral Ischemic Injury

Abstract:
Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells （BMSCs） can be induced and differentiated into neurons in a specific condition in vitro. This biological characteristic has brought new a hope for the cellular and gene therapies in cerebral ischemic injury, and it will reveal the glorious prospects for the treatment and rehabilitation of nervous system diseases.
