摘 要:
英语诗歌形式的研究大致可以分为三个时期：第一个时期着重总结传统诗歌形式，并结合具体作品加以分析；第二个时期主要研究自由诗的形式问题，并取得了一些成果；第三个时期目前正在逐步展开，其核心是从认知的角度探讨诗歌形式的理论基础。第三个时期的研究工作者注重借鉴其他学科的研究成果，注重研究方法的科学性，已经取得了许多重要的研究成果。[著者文摘]

Abstract:
The study of the form of English poetry can be roughly divided into three stages： the first stage focuses on the study of conventional forms of English poetry on the basis of closereading; the second stage concentrates on the form of free verse ; the third stage is largely devoted to the study of the theoretical basis of English poetic form from the perspective of cognitive science. Scholars in the third stage are keen on introducing theories in other fields to poetic studies and are very conscious of the scientific approaches applied. As a result, many important fruits have been achieved in their studies.[著者文摘]
