摘 要:
哈代的宗教思想经历了从信仰、怀疑到最终否定等几个阶段。社会的转型、科学的发展以及达尔文进化论的传播都对哈代宗教思想的变化起了决定性的作用。在《德伯家的苔丝》中，哈代抨击了基督教僵化的信条，表明了自己鲜明的宗教观。[著者文摘]
