Abstract:
Iraqi War is a local war with high informationization. Media war exerts great influence as the second battle field for both the USA and Iraq. Through the analysis of Iraqi War, this article expounds that psychological attack and buffeting the enemy's momentum are the direct purposes of media war, the concept that warfare depends on deception is tactical principle of media war, and that seeking the disposition and creating the posture are the basic approaches of media war.
