梁启超和福泽谕吉都来自封建旧营垒,又都受现代西方文明的洗礼,他们极具启蒙主义特征的教育思想形成于中日两国近代化的转型时期。梁启超深受福泽谕吉的影响,把塑造体验人格、享有人权的“新民”作为教育救国的出发点;福泽谕吉视发展智慧为日本文明开化的当务之急,将实学作为振兴日本的工具。[著者文摘]

Abstract:
Both Liang Qichao and Fukuzawa Yukichi came from the feudal camps and had gone through the test of western civilization. Their educational ideas which had the characteristics of enlightenment formed in the turning period of the two countries' modernization. Liang was influenced a lot by Fukuzawa Yukichi and made education saving the nation as his starting point whose main theme is portraying "new people" who could have moral integrity through practice and enjoy human rights. Fukuzawa Yukichi looked on the intelligence development as the most pressing matter for Japan to become civilized and made real learning the tool to rejuvenate his country.[著者文摘]
