摘 要:
21世纪是知识经济和信息化的时代，数字资源建设已经成为评价一所学校图书馆信息资源建设的重要标志，也是数字图书馆建设的核心。高校学科重点和图书馆特色馆藏资源的特色数据库建设就变得十分迫切和需要，它是数字图书馆开展信息服务最主要的信息资源。本文通过对特色数据库建设的意义、建设的原则和建设步骤三个方面的具体阐述，希望能为相关院校建设特色数据库提供参考。[著者文摘]
