介绍了信息构建的基本理论，描述了国内外学科信息门户的建设现状，并列举几个典型的、成功的学科信息门户，发现其现状中的不足之处。在对信息构建理论应用于学科信息门户的可行性进行分析的基础上，最后提出信息构建理论应用到学科信息门户的具体方法。[著者文摘]
