通过与黄河、海河等北方流域对比，总结了长江流域水土资源特点和用水耗水的特征，分析了长江流域20多年来用水结构变化和上、中、下游产水与用水比例关系，认为节水的主要目的是改善水环境，节水的重点领域是一般工业和生活用水，节水的重点地区是四川省和长江中下游地区。[著者文摘]

Water availability, utilization, conservation and pollution prevention of water resources in the Yangtze River Basin

Abstract:
Compared with the Yellow River and Hai River, features of soil and water resources, water use and consumption of the Yangtze River Basin are summarized. Water using structure change for more than 20 years and producing and using water ratio in up, middle and down streams are analyzed. Main aim of water saving in the Yangtze River Basin is to improve water environment. It concludes that main sectors of water saving are industry and urban. Important areas of water saving are Sichuan Province, middle and down stream of the Yangtze River.[著者文摘]
