摘 要:
《虹》以内涵丰富的彩虹意象贯穿始终，奠定了小说具有彩虹般和谐之关的基调。从生态批评的角度重读此作，能够从中解读出劳伦斯深刻而独特的生态哲学思想：《虹》对自然生态、社会生态及精神生态等方面的描写，反映了劳伦斯对资本主义工业文明的深恶痛绝；对和谐的人与自然关系的向往；对构建和谐的两性关系的积极探讨．以及对人如何真正实现自我所进行的深入思考。“虹”始终衬托着劳伦斯对和谐之关的不懈追求，因而使其成为一部充分展示劳伦斯敏锐生态意识和深邃生态智慧的作品。[著者文摘]

Seeking for Harmonious Beauty --An Analysis of The Rainbow from the Perspective of Ecocriticism

Abstract:
In The Rainbow, the rich images of the rainbow impenetrate the novel and establish the essential mood of the novel with harmonious beauty. Rereading the novel from a new perspective of Ecocriticism can help draw a conclusion that Lawrence has profound and particular ecological philosophy in his deep mind. The description of three aspects, namely, natural ecology, social ecology and spiritual ecology, reveals that Lawrence gives a severe criticism directly towards industrial civilization of capitalism and attempts to maintain a harmonious relationship between man and nature. Meanwhile, Lawrence makes an active exploration of the harmonious relationships between man and woman and gives a deep reflection on how to achieve a true self - realization in one＇s spiritual world. The images of rainbow serve as a foil to Lawrence＇s pursuit of harmonious beauty, thus making the novel full of acute ecological consciousness and profound ecological wisdom.[著者文摘]
