高校教师评价问题的根源剖析

摘  要:

高校教师评价是高校管理的一项重要内容,在一定程度上体现着学校的办学理念与追求,对学校的整体发展和高校教师个体发展以及大学生全面素质培养具有导向作用。从理论上讲应具导向、激励、诊断、鉴定等功能。但由于现行高校教师评价在评价观念和价值取向、评价制度和目的、评价内容和方法、评价者素质等诸方面存在一定问题,大大窄化或异化了它应有的功能。对于简化高校管理工作和对高校教师的约束、监督作用明显,建设意义难以体现,难以发挥促进高校教师持续成长与专业发展的作用。目前,高校教师评价存在的主要问题表现在评价观念的偏差、评价内容的狭窄和评价方式的单一、评价程序的行政化色彩、评价人员素质欠佳等方面。其产生的根源主要在于评价的功利主义价值取向、国家对高校整体办学水平评估的导向、高校科层制管理体制隐含的弊端以及部分高校管理者对高校教师人性本质的片面认识等。[著者文摘]

The Analysis of the Sources of Teachers' Evaluation in Colleges

Abstract:

Teacbers'evaluation is an important content of management in colleges. To some extent, it embodies the theory and pursuance of running a school. It also has direct effect on entire development of a school, individual development of teachers and full -scale quality development of students. By theory, it has functions of direction, encouragement, diagnosis and appraisal. Nevertheless, the problems of appraisal conception and value orientation, appraisal system and purpose, appraisal content and methods, appraisers' quality in current colleges have greatly narrowed or dissimilated its original functions. It also has an obvious effect on simplifying the management job of colleges and restricting and supervising teachers. But its constructive significance is difficult to be shown. So it is difficult to have an effect on the continuous growth and specialized development of teachers. This essay chooses value orientation of teachers' evaluation as an entrance. It is indicated that the major problems existing in college teachers' evaluation consist in the deviation in their notions of evaluation, narrowness of the evaluation content, singleness of the evaluation manner, administrative mode of the evaluation procedure, deficiency in their evaluation ability, etc. lays particular on analyzing the sources of utilitarianism value orientation, direction to evaluate the entire level of running a school by our country and the shortcomings of administrative level system and so on.[著者文摘]
