Abstract:
We study the tlme-asymptotic behavior of solutions for the scalar conservation law with relaxation in one-dimension. The pointwise estimates of solutions are obtained under the condition that the relaxation system satisfies the dissipative condition. Our approach is obtained on a detailed analysis of the Green's function of the linearized system. It is shown that the solution exhibits some "weak" Huyghens principle.[著者文摘]
