Popularity of Numerical Control within the Wood Industry in China

Abstract:
This paper analyzed the wood machining processes currently used in China. The author concluded it would be necessary to develop a team with the specific mission to study, acquire, and implement numerical control for the wood industry in China. He also suggested that the Chinese researcher and manufacturers should cooperate to study key techniques, import the foreign advanced technologies, and combine research with production. Development of the numerical control machine adapted to China's requirements, is the direction the wood industry must take to remain competitive.[著者文摘]
