磷脂酰乙醇胺结合蛋白是一类结构高度保守、生物功能多样的碱性胞质蛋白,可与膜磷脂、阿片、核苷酸等多种物质结合。该家族蛋白可作为信号转导过程中的调节器以及海马胆碱能神经刺激肽(HCNP)前体蛋白,在神经元保护、生物膜的构建与重塑、阿尔采末症、糖尿病肾病、癌症等生理、病理过程中发挥重要作用。[著者文摘]

Progress of the phosphatidylethanolamine binding protein

Abstract:
Proteins of the phosphatidylethanolamine binding protein(PEBP) family are highly conserved throughout nature and have multiple biological functions.These small,cytosolic proteins have a typical large central sheet and a putative ligand-binding site which shares an affinity for a variety of ligands such as phospholipids,opioids,nucleotides,hydrophobic odorant molecules.PEBP plays a pivotal modulatory role in Raf-1/MEK/ERK、IκB/NF-κB、GPCR signaling cascades.As the precursor of the hippocampal cholinergic neurostimulating peptide(HCNP),PEBP may play an important role in the septal cholinergic development of the hippocampal.In addition,PEBP has the potential to contribute to neural protection,biogenesis and refinement of the membrane,Alzheimers disease(AD),opioid dependence,diabetic nephropathy,cancer and other physiological or pathophysiological processes.[著者文摘]
