热带经济植物桃棕研究进展与展望

摘 要:
热带美洲的完全驯化棕榈--桃棕,有着巨大的经济价值和开发潜力.商品林种植面积逐年递增,以满足国际市场不断增长的对棕心高级蔬菜及中、南美洲居民对可加工成淀粉、饮料、食用油及饲料的棕果的需求.对桃棕及其人工商品林的经营和开发利用研究随之受到高度重视,研究力度不断加强,并向深度和广度发展.文章着重对桃棕的基本特征与分布,棕心和棕果的营养评价,繁殖,人工商品林经营与棕心加工方面的主要研究成果及进展进行综述,以期促进其在我国热带和南亚热带地区的推广种植与研发进程.[著者文摘]

A Review of Research and Development on Peach Palm of Economic Value

Abstract:
Peach palm （Bactris gasipaes Kunth） is a unique completely domesticated palm in tropical America. The heart-of-palm composed of tender unexpanded leaves in the paling crown is a gourmet vegetable. The fruit of the palm serves for flour, drinks, edible oil and animal feed. The commercial plantations of peach palm are rapidly developed and expended in tropical America to meet the increasing demand of international and local market. More attentions and research efforts on the species had been highly focused. A fruitful research results have been achieved. This paper is going to mainly review the research progresses in the area of plant distribution and characters, nutrition assessment of heart-of-palm and fruit, plant propagation, plantation management and palm - of - heart processing, aiming to speed up its research progress and to promote its recognition and development in tropical China.[著者文摘]
