Electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol on the Pt/GC electrode

Abstract:
:The Pt/GC electrode prepared by two step cyclic vohammograms showed excellent electrocatalytic activity and stability for the oxidation of methanol. In addition, the crystal structure and the composition of the despoited platinum nanopartieles were investgated with the help of transmission electron microscope,the X-ray diffraction and electrochemistry method. The results indicated that the mean average size of the despoited platinum nanopartieles was 32.5 nm and the orientation of the nanopartieles was determined by (111) plane.[著者文摘]
