WebGIS互操作与数据传输研究

摘 要:
探讨了由OGC开发的基于标准规范(特别是GML和SVG规范)在改进这些局限性方面的可能性.利用GML对数据进行编码,然后利用数据传输机制使数据互操作成为可能,利用SVG对GML数据在Web浏览器高质量显示.实例研究表明,利用GML和SVG技术不仅可以在不改变原始数据的条件下实现互操作,而且可以在Web浏览器上以矢量格式高质量地显示地图.但在互操作性、数据量大小和安全性等方面还需要进一步研究.[著者文摘]

Abstract:
In this paper, the feasibility of bettering data trarsimission was explored by using standard-based technologies, speciesp, the Geography Markup Language (GML), Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) Specifications developed by the OpenGIS Consortium (OGC). A strategy is to use GML as a coding and data transporting mechanism to achieve data interoperability and to use, SVG to display GML data on the Web. Our case study shows that the combination of GML and SVG has a potential to achieve interoperability without changes of existing data, and that. SVG can produce superior quality vector maps on a Web browser. However more researches are needed to further explore in terms of interoperability, data sizes and security.[著者文摘]
