Solids (ISSN 2673-6497) is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, and scientific open-access, open-source journal that encourages authors to submit high-quality papers in all areas of solid-state sciences. We accept reviews, regular research papers and communications reflecting the latest developments in the field. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their results in as much detail as possible. Full experimental details must be provided so that results can be reproduced. Electronic files regarding the full details of the experimental procedure, if unable to be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary material or deposited in a publicly accessible repository with appropriate links specified. Code bases for modeling and simulations have to be described, including code versions/revisions, and if public open-source codes, links to relevant repositories have to be supplied; relevant input and output files have to be supplied as supplemental material or deposited in a publicly accessible repository with appropriate links specified.
