The Journal of Statistics and Management Systems (JSMS) is a world leading journal publishing high quality, rigorously peer-reviewed original research on theoretical and applied statistics and management systems. The scope is intentionally broad, but papers must make a novel contribution to the field to be considered for publication. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following: • Statistics • Applied Statistics • Industrial Statistics • Statistical Inference • Interdisciplinary role of Statistics • Actuarial Sciences • Decision Sciences • Managerial Aspects • Management Sciences • Management Information Systems The journal considers original research articles, survey articles, and book reviews for publication. Responses to articles and correspondence will also be considered at the Editor-in-Chief’s discretion. Special issue proposals in cutting-edge and timely areas of research in information and optimization sciences are encouraged – please contact the Editor-in-Chief in the first instance. Peer Review Policy All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor-in-Chief, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to rigorous and rapid peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is double blind and will undergo iThenticate authenticity cross-checking.
