Religious Studies Review (RSR) is Rice University's quarterly review of publications and works of interest across the whole field of religious studies and in related disciplines. RSR reviews over 1,000 titles annually in short reviews and longer review essays, as well as peer reviewed articles of original scholarly research.RSR's editorial mission is to offer timely reviews of significant scholarly works in religious studies, allied and ancillary disciplines, and cultural productions of interest to scholars. The goal is to focus attention on major themes, topics, and directions in religious studies different sub-fields as well as to provide a forum to nurture the conversation between scholars across disparate specialties and disciplines.
