The Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (JAND) is the official research publication of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The purpose, expressed in the mission statement, is to be "the premier peer-reviewed journal in the field of food, nutrition, and dietetics." JAND is published in both print and electronic formats and publishes pre-proof and Articles in Press (articles posted on JAND's website before the print version). Submission to JAND is open to all individuals in the food, nutrition, and dietetics profession as well as allied health fields.
