JILA (Journal of Indian Library Association) seeks to provide library and information science (LIS) students, instructors, researchers, and practitioners a forum for academic discussion in order to share ideas and expertise. This Journal is dedicated to disseminating innovative research that tackles the problems and advancements in library and information science. It seeks to disseminate best practices, investigate new trends and problems, and publish peer-reviewed articles that further LIS research and expertise. It welcomes multidisciplinary methods, referencing allied disciplines such as information technology and computer science and how they apply to Library and Information Science.
