The Turkish Journal of Vascular Surgery (Turk J Vasc Surg) aims primarily at vascular surgeons to be the leading international open-access journal in which the diagnosis of arterial, vein and lymphatic vessel diseases and their medical, endovascular and surgical treatments are updated and discussed. To achieve this goal, it is improved the management of patients with vascular disorders by publishing relevant articles focusing on the investigation, management and prevention of peripheral arterial, venous and lymphatic diseases, vascular access, trauma and malformations. The journal reports on important medical, surgical and endovascular advances, tests new hypotheses, and addresses current controversies. Papers that consider the technical aspects of vascular surgery are encouraged, and the journal includes invited state-of-the-art articles. These encompass all relevant clinical, surgical and experimental studies, editorials, current and collective reviews, technical know-how papers, case reports, interesting images, How to do It papers, correspondences, and commentaries.
