Founded in 1887, Annals of Botany is an international plant science journal publishing novel and rigorous research in all areas of plant science. Research applying molecular, analytical, mathematical and statistical techniques to examine topical questions at any level of biological organization ranging from cell to community, tissue culture to crop production, and microclimate to ecosystem are welcome. The scope extends to all flowering and non-flowering taxa and includes taxonomic and evolutionary questions. Article types include Original Research papers (Research Articles and Technical Advances), Invited and Submitted Reviews (Reviews, Research in Context, Perspectives), and Editorial & Front Material (Botanical Briefings, Letters, and Commentaries).
