Advances in Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities (AMHID)  is a vital and pioneering source of peer-reviewed research and information specific to the mental health needs of people with intellectual/learning disabilities. The journal integrates current research with practice and keeps researchers and professionals up to date with a variety of different perspectives and international developments in the field. AMHID  supports the delivery of high-quality and evidence-based practice and provides a forum for the debate of current issues and opinions. The editors welcome the submission of papers from researchers, practitioners, managers and academics who are involved in research with or delivering practice to people with intellectual disabilities with additional mental health needs.
