This journal is a diversified platform for disseminating state-of-the-art research on computational solutions for improving the sustainability of industrial processes. It provides an international forum to researchers, policy makers, decision makers, managers, consultants, and planners to publish, learn, and discuss how process integration and optimization tools can be used to reduce the consumption of resources and the generation of waste and pollutants. The scope covers combinations of computing methods (e.g., mathematical programming, pinch analysis, decision analysis, machine learning, etc.) and innovative industrial applications.
