Results in Geophysical Sciences is an international open-access peer reviewed journal that publishes a wide range of original research papers on all aspects of geophysics, geology and related disciplines. The journal focuses on the physical properties and process of the Earths structure and interactions, including: Pure, Applied and Exploration Geophysics Tectonics, Seismology, Geodynamics, Crust and Mantle Interactions Geomorphology and Sedimentology Structural Geology Geology of all fields including Quaternary, Metamorphic, Igneous Deep Earth Engineering Geology Geodesy Geomagnetism, Palaeomagnetism and Rock Magnetism Mineral Physics, Rheology & Volcanology Rock Mechanics and Deformation Solid Earth interactions with the Cryosphere, Atmosphere, Oceans, and Climate Marine Geology Natural and Anthropogenic Hazards Mineral and Energy Resource Geology Aspects of Geochronology/Thermochronology Results in Geophysical Sciences accepts submissions of two types of papers: Full-length research papers (no longer than 10,000 words) Short communications (no longer than three pages) which may consist of a single, but well-described piece of information, such as: Data and/or a plot plus a description Description of a new method or instrumentation
