The Journal of Financial Economic Policy ( JFEP ) is devoted to the advancement of financial economics broadly defined. Economic and financial phenomena involve complex trade-offs and linkages between numerous types of risk factors and variables of interest to both policymakers and market participants. Market participants such as economic analysts, regulators, stakeholders, corporations, and financial institutions, require timely, clear, and robust answers to contemporary and emerging policy questions. In turn, such answers require rigorous and circumspect input from academics, policymakers, and other researchers. The Journal of Financial Economic Policy provides a forum dedicated to researching these needs. The journal publishes and invites high-quality papers to help provide prompt and useful responses to current and emerging financial economic policy challenges. Areas of interest include policy related to bank performance and regulation, financial capital markets, corporate finance and governance, central bank policy, behavioral economics and finance, real estate finance and economics, and a wide variety of other related topics of interest and relevance.
