Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry: An International Journal for Chemical Biology in Health and Disease publishes original research papers, short communications, and state-of-the-art reviews in all areas of the biomedical sciences, emphasizing novel findings relevant to the molecular and cellular basis of human disease. Areas of interest include pharmacology, physiology, translational research, and also in clinical trials that illuminate to the basic mechanisms of disease. The scope of MCB is not restricted to bench or animal studies, but it includes also human studies because, in the ultimate analysis, the best model to study human disease is humans.
